Visitors passing on the road in front of the Shalimar Bagh in Srinagar. In the background, even though it may not be so clear, the water of the Dal Lake is visible. There is a road separating the garden and the Dal Lake, and on one side of this not so wide road, there is parking for the vehicles used by tourists to visit the garden. People have to walk on the road to move from side to side, as can be seen in this photo. In the photo, there is a small platform on the edge of the garden.
